07-15 Statistics and Trilateration

I informed myself about statistical methods in trilateration, which I will be using for position estimation. It is especially hard for me to convert the problem into an algorithm when I do not know all of the symbols and methods used in literature, so I will read up on these. In a research paper called Statistical Methods in Surveying by Trilateration, the available regression "flavors" are presented. I need to take some time to learn the basics of the different notations (matrices, jacobian) and doing regression on non normally distributed residuals.
